Firefighter Bob Johnson teaches children at Keith Valley Middle School fire prevention and suppression techniques as part of class.  The training covers the basics of fire prevention to the small fire in the kitchen and the safe way of handling it to a larger fire requiring the use of fire extinguishers.  The intent is to provide the student on overview and a level of confidence while ensuring safety of the people and facility.  The partnership between Horsham Fire Company and the Hatboro-Horsham School District was established four (4) years ago and is now part of the curriculum.
